					<description>Hi Sarah,

If you want to hear from people, then I would recommend lifting the moderation
on the Citizendium List. The current set up does not facilitate real dialogue.
Most discussion lists these days get by with standard spam filters, and it's not
really necessary to have such tight moderation of each and every post, releasing
them all at once in a flood, once or twice a day.

Many regards,

<description>I thought restrictions on the Purdue lists were lifted?!

I am going to try and consolidate all the lists/forums ASAP. :/

					<description>Hi there!
Just a general comment: You say " We span from (...) to below the drinking age." about a group of, as you say, "authors, editors, tech folk and constables", that has been elevated to be the executive committee. Well, one day when there was a call for people who are interested in serving as what at that time was called community managers. I applied and, despite me being above the drinking age (only to refer back to the blog article), was considered too young. I didn't even aim for anything as fancy as the executive committee, I was just looking to be just a little helper in this project, a "worker in the wineyard of our lord", so to speak.

I now have applied again using the now simplified way of applying for a role in the pilot project and, especcially after having read this blog article, I hope not to be disappointed.
