Hi
"And if anyone can tell me how to make WordPress display the original size instead of the thumbnail"
While editin/creatin your post with IE6 (I didn't try with FF nor Konqueror, and it doesn't work with Opera), click on the pic, then click on 'insert/edit image' on the wysiwyg, then just click update (or anyway it's named in English, I've my wordpress in French..), then send the post, and it should work (well, it works for me :)).
It will display in full size with IE (so it can screw up the whole thing if a pic is too big), and it will be fit to width with Opera.

David, mine has lost some quality from conversion from PNG to GIF, however the PNG version is much clearer.
Compare http://blog.citizendium.org/wp-content/uploads/2006/12/citi3.gif with http://cubegames.net/images/Citi3.png and you will see what I mean.

extend the deadline for entries people are in school until the 23rd. the icon is important as heck. You also need an icon for the people using firefox. Like wikipedia has a W that appears on the tab and google has a G. Obviously I assume you'll have a C but that icon is important too.

Also, the name citizendium is set in stone? when i talk to people about it, they all respond, "cita what?" then they say, "wikipedia" is a cooler name. I think the name is fine but i wanted to spread the feedback from the 25 people I've tried to recruit so far.

That's weird, it's got the wrong image. I must have generated the wrong one again :D
Here's the proper ones:
http://cubegames.net/images/Citi1.png
http://cubegames.net/images/Citi2.png
http://cubegames.net/images/Citi3.png

All made with SVGs so they can be made into any format. I encourage all other designers to do this.

From these submissions, it appears unlikely that an artist would be able to include the tagline in the image without reducing itself to damn-near unreadable. I think simplicity would be wise here, and include only the name of the website.
